Foxglove Farm's At-Market Pepper Roaster

This past summer I took a brief trip to Saltspring Island, BC, and was there for their weekly farmers' market. Foxglove Farm, home and business of damned good writer and gardener Michael Ableman, had a stall there, and among other ways examples of having their shit together was this pepper roaster, which they fired up periodically throughout market to produce beautifully roasted sweet peppers for sale. More valuable, perhaps, was the way the thing drew in passers-by. I wish I had a video of it in action, but I don't.
